Why we are building Distributed Republic

Distributed Republic is an exploration: how do we build and join communities that live well together? Not as a product, but as a values-led project. We are looking for the right people and the right places.

The commons

The heart of it is the commons: shared kitchens, workshops, gardens, and gathering halls. The everyday spaces where a community actually happens.

Anarchic agreements

We are interested in communities held together by explicit, mutually agreed constitutions, written together rather than handed down. More on that soon.
